Erythromycin Thiocyanate 178.3 mg.
Properties:
Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic which is mainly active against Gram-positive bacteria And Mycoplasma.
It acts by attaching to the 50s subunit of the ribosomes and prevents Ribonucleic acid from attaching to the receiver site preventing the synthesis of protein.
Indications:
Erythrocinmed is indicated for the treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) due to Mycoplasma gallisepticum and infectious coryza due to Haemophilus gallinarum in poultry. Also it can be used as an aid in the management of respiratory syndrome outbreaks resulting from the stress of vaccination and debeaking.
In Turkeys: Used to control Bluecomb (Non-specific Infectious Enteritis) caused by Organisms susceptible to erythromycin.

Dosage & Administration:
1.55 gm. Erythrocinmed /1 liter of drinking water for 5 days.
Adverse Effects:
Oral erythromycin may cause GI disturbances with diarrhea.
Withdrawal Period:
-Meat: 3 days
– Eggs: 6 days
Storage:
Before opening: Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place.
After first opening: To be used within 30 days and store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a Dry place.
After reconstitution: To be used within 24 hours and store at temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Packing:
(HDPE) Plastic container containing 100, 500 or 1000 gm.
